Meet Diane Gaudreau

Diane Gaudreau has been involved with horses since age 11. Under the guidance of the well-known and professional trainer Jim Koon of Alameda Creek Stables, Diane started her career training and showing horses as a young girl in 4-H. Just out of High School, she took and orphaned foal, raised and trained it on her own as a 3 year old and won the Western Pleasure class at the Grand National Horse Show at the Cow Palace (among other awards along the way). She has apprenticed and learned from some of the most reputable professional horsemen in the business and is well respected by her peers. She has a broad range of experience competing at Open, English, Quarter horse, Paint and Appy  Breed shows. Currently her focus is the Quarter Horse Circuit.

She has a successful career as a competitive rider and trainer by setting competitive goals for her clients that enable horse and rider to truly flourish together. She believes matching the horse and the rider is key for a successful outcome. Her forte is the Trail, Western Riding and Hunter Under Saddle events, but you can find her training horse and rider in any number of different events.

Diane has Bred, raised, and Trained horses which have placed in the top 10 at the AQHA World Championship Show, Appaloosa World Championship Show and The All American Quarter Horse Congress and has won the Nation in Western Riding for AQHA year-end awards. She is a member of the AQHA Professional Horseman Association, The National Snaffle Bit Association and the Pacific Coast Quarter Horse Association.
